Principles of Design
These three picture are representative of the principle unity and variety. The first picture is a variety of disposable bins, one being for recycling and one for trash. The second picture is a variety of different plants. The last picture is a variety of different shoes, All of these pictures represent the principle unity and variety. These three pictures are representing the rule of third. I used the grid function on my phone to get the equal thirds and get the items in the cross hairs. The first picture I was able to align the light into the top third cross hair. The second picture I was able to get the plant into the top left section. The last picture is a bird plated and in the top right cross hair of the grid.
Joe Cornish Tips
Tip 1) Getting different angles of the subject or spending time with it, feel the subject in its environment and get close with it. Just don't be so robotic with the pictures. I could spend time looking at the landscapes I want to take pictures of. Tip 2) Give your picture some character and a story, like in the video when he says the rain softens the picture, just give the picture some feel to it. Spend time with the camera raw filter to make it have more feeling
